windows are glazed exclusively with Super Spacer, the
insulating foam spacer whose use allows for comfortable
humidity levels and the least likelihood of mold and

SuperSelect Glass with Super Spacer glazing
virtually eliminates condensation. Window
condensation causes or contributes to mold growth, a
sinister presence hidden from sight, deep inside window
and wall openings. Poorly built or installed windows are a prime indoor mold source whose occurrence
is more and more being linked to child asthma, plus
increases in general respiratory illness, allergies and
outbreaks of fungal diseases. Super Spacer keeps
the moisture off the glass with the warmest inside
glass temperature possible, allowing for comfortable
humidity levels and the least likelihood of mold and
other problems. Vinylview windows come standard
with Super Spacer structural foam glazing that has an
edge of glass temperature up to 12.2 F warmer than
metal spacers.

The measure of a window's
resistance to heat flow. The lower a window's
U-Factor, the better its insulation value, and the more
heat will stay inside your home.
Solar Heat Gain
Coefficient (SHGC)
This number measures the amount of the sun's
ultraviolet rays, which cause heat gain and can fade
fabrics, rugs and paint when coming through a window.
The lower a window's SHGC, the less heat gain there is.

Transmittance
The percentage of visible light that comes through a
window.
Products
Double Hung
Double hung windows come standard with recessed tilt
latches that allow the sashes to tilt-in for the ease
of cleaning both sides of the glass. The handle
rail has been ergonomically designed to conform to your
fingers when opening the sash. Sashes are double
weather stripped to ensure minimal air infiltration.
The sashes are fully interlocked and come standard with
pick resistant cam-action sash locks that provide added
security. A second lock is standard on windows
wider than 27". Deluxe ventilation-limit locks,
operated by a finger-tip movement, permit a restricted
sash opening, allowing ventilation while deterring
unwanted intruders.
Casement Windows
Casement windows come standard with Truth hardware
and have sashes that open 90 degrees for ease of
cleaning. The locking mechanism activates
multiple locks securely anchoring each sash. Full
screens are standard.
Custom Bay & Bow
Windows
Open up your home with the addition of a bay or bow
window. The wider view creates a spacious sense
of the outdoors while adding light and style to the
room. In fact, with a bay or bow window the room
is truly bigger. Bay and bow windows can be
customized to complement any decor. Choose from
double hung, casement or fixed lite style windows in
White, Brown, Hunter Green, or Almond. You may
also select the Woodlands natural wood veneer that can
be custom finished, or choose one of our pre-finished
interior laminates in Light Oak, Medium Oak or Cherry.
Bay and bow windows come standard with premium features
such as insulated head and seat boards available in
Birch or Oak, two operable windows, and cable support
system which secures the window structure to your home
for strength and stability. Bow windows are
available up to 12 feet in width.
